My friends and I were looking for opportunities to get away from the daily humdrum of life. Browsing through the internet one night, we chanced upon The Grand Dragon Ladakh, a fantastic accommodation in Ladakh. The trip was finalized and we designed it around the region. Soon after, our Leh Ladakh Hotel booking was made. We decided on a road trip to Ladakh! Our group of six departed for Manali in our jeep and after a day’s rest, began our journey to the highest plateau in Kashmir. We travelled across a number of passes but the noteworthy ones were Rohtang, Barlacha, and Khardung, which were as vast as they were beautiful. The mesmerizing panorama truly took our breath away. Finally we reached our destination and being strategically located, we easily spotted our hotel. A pleasant picture presented itself to us at this accommodation in Ladakh. The sheer size and opulence of the hotel held promises of a marvelous and comfortable stay.
Upon
entering and after a swift check in process, we were directly shown to
our rooms where we could view the gorgeous Ladakh skyline from the huge
windows. After an hour of rest and freshening up, we decided on a spot
of dinner at Tusrabs that consisted of authentic Kashmiri cuisine. A
hearty meal later, we retired for the night. Next morning, an expansive
breakfast awaited us at STOK VIEW TERRACE AND GARDEN while we gazed upon
the fantastic panorama of the trans Himalayan region. The hotel had
also kindly arranged for us sightseeing tours. All in all, we carried
with us wonderful memories of the place.
